Construction & Skilled Trades Career Pathway

Project GUIDE's Construction & Skilled Trades Career Pathway is an 8-week workforce development and career readiness program designed to prepare youth ages 16–24 for careers in construction and the skilled trades. Participants receive industry-aligned training, career readiness instruction, and hands-on learning experiences that build the technical, professional, and workplace skills employers value. The program combines job-readiness coaching, financial literacy, employer engagement, and career exploration with industry-recognized training and certifications, including OSHA-10, NCCER Core, and Forklift Operator Certification. Participants also gain firsthand exposure to construction careers through job site visits, employer networking, and apprenticeship engagement, connecting them to employment opportunities, registered apprenticeships, postsecondary education, and continued career advancement within the construction industry.
