What is Project GUIDE?

Project GUIDE (Geared Toward Understanding & Identifying Desired Employment)

Explore. Train. Earn. Launch Your Career.

Project GUIDE is Empowered to Live, Inc.'s signature workforce development and career readiness program that prepares youth and young adults ages 16–24 for success in employment, apprenticeships, postsecondary education, and industry-recognized career training.

Through an eight-week cohort experience, participants discover career pathways, develop essential workplace skills, earn industry-recognized credentials, and gain hands-on exposure to high-demand careers. Every participant receives individualized career coaching, supportive services, employer engagement opportunities, financial capability training, and a personalized career success plan designed to help them successfully transition into the workforce.

Project GUIDE combines career readiness training, workplace safety training, and industry-specific technical training to prepare participants for careers that lead to long-term economic mobility.

Whether a participant plans to enter the workforce immediately, pursue an apprenticeship, or continue their education, Project GUIDE provides the skills, credentials, and connections needed to take the next step.
